- With this project a device was created which alerts the pigeon owner within seconds that a pigeon-ring (RFID) was detected by means of a small paging system.
– An email will be send with time and date of the arrival to the club or other email address.
– Also a website is created/updated to show others the status of a match or training. - Future versions will make a photo of the arrival of a pigeon and presents it on the website.
- Historical flight data can be presented of the pigeons.

This is how a message will look like after a pigeon-ring was detected.
The data is send to the messaging server via the internet. The processor handles the data by sending it via the wifi tranceiver which is on the Wemos pcb.
Almost always wifi uses IP addressen starting with 192.168.xxx.xxx, as you can see in my screenshot.
I programmed it that it sends once after powerup its IP-address.
Then the most important data below the IP address:
Ringnumber, timestamp and via which of the (here) 2 antennas.. (here just an example)..
